Parents take note and mark the
dates 1st and 2nd June in your calendars for a one of a
kind event – a comprehensive kid’s carnival ‘Knock, Stork and Baby’!
What is it about?
Organized by the Smoking Mirror
Private Limited, this carnival will cover everything of importance for a child;
from health and hygiene, food and nutrition, sports and play, education and
learning, schools and hobbies. The carnival will provide both parents and
children (aged 0 to 15) interesting options like group discussions, workshops,
vocational fun, new-fangled learning concepts, tips on parenting and also some
special retail therapy!
Celebrity actress and mom
Perizaad Zorabian Irani will be inaugurating the carnival and will host the
very first workshop; SuperMom Diaries – a session on how to provide a vent to
the angst that working mothers face every day regarding work and home balance
Why the need for such a festival?
Renowned writer Khaled Hosseini once
said, “Children are not colouring books. You do not get to fill them in with
your favourite colours.” But that is exactly what happens. Parents often burden
their children with the task of completing their own unfulfilled dreams! There’s
too much pressure on children, so much so that their childhood often passes by
in a buzz of activity – to break this, change this and to make any and every
iota of difference – is the Knock, Stork and Baby Festival…
The founders of Smoking Mirror
Private Limited came up with idea of this carnival as they felt that not enough
was being done for the future of our kids. Hence, they felt the need to
initiate a scenario where parents and children together with experts could have
a meaningful exchange of ideas, experience and such.
So don’t forget to visit the
Knock, Stork and Baby festival on the 1st of June with your kids to
have wonderful discussions about parenting and whole lot of fun for the entire
family, especially your kids!
Hey Swaraj. Thank you for this! :)
